RPG Research currently has an important opening for a non-profit Volunteer Marketing Director. We are looking for someone that is passionate about improving our organization's brand through marketing and media presence.

We are looking for candidates that are excited about what we are doing as an organization to help improve lives around the world.

THIS OPPORTUNITY CAN BE 100% REMOTE WORK, VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE.

VOLUNTEER, UNPAID POSITION FOR 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT.

MARKETING STUDENTS,INTERNS, & EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS WELCOMED.

The Marketing Manager will:

  • Develop and implement a Marketing Strategy Plan
  • Plan and develop a Marketing Department
  • Recruit additional volunteers necessary to build an effective volunteer-run Marketing Department.
  • Engage and schedule news and media engagement opportunities.
  • Contact news and media outlets to expand the reach of our brand and raise greater global awareness about our organization's research, training, convention, volunteer, & community programs.
  • Attend one meeting per week (1-4 hours).
  • Supervise staff updating our media and social media presence.
  • Supervise writing our monthly newsletters to opt-in subscribers in compliance with international laws.
  • Supervise updates to our news and/or blog sections of our website(s) periodically.
  • Post announcement highlights about our events, videos, publications, & other media releases.
  • Schedule key interviews/panels/events with our leadership staff.

SCHEDULE

This volunteer position typically required between 5-10 hours per week.

LOCATION

Though our offices and studios are primarily located in Spokane, WA, this position can be 100% remote work.

At least 1 year experience writing for web-based news or blog site.

The Marketing & Social Media Manager will write our monthly newsletter to opted-in subscribers, update our news and/or blog sections of our site periodically, write and post announcements about our events, videos, and other media releases, and post updates through our social media accounts.

SCHEDULE

This volunteer position typically required between 5-8 hours per week, or about 20-30 hours per month depending on your skills and efficiency.

  • Write monthly newsletter, post in our news section , send to opt-in email subscribers, and post link to social media.
  • Post occasional news/blog announcements on website several times per week.
  • Post announcements about our latest events, videos, or other media releases to our Patreon and public social media sites.

  • Attend one administrative session per week (1 hour).
