This is the infamous TV movie that fed into the "satanic panic" and "moral panic" of the 1980's, specifically warping and attacking role-playing games and gamers. This is the show folks frequently remember and refer to as their impression of role-playing gamers. This was fictional story, loosely based on events that were NOT RPG related, but were misreported as being so.
As for "watchability", it's typical low quality 80's made-for-tv fluff. Can't really recommend it, but it is useful for those wanting a snapshot of the 80's distortions about role-playing games and gamers.
